Road to Recovery

Hello, my kinky readers,

It has been a long time since I have written!  I have missed you very much.  Many of you probably believe that I deserve a good spanking for leaving you hanging for so long, but I promise you that I have a good excuse (though honestly, I probably DO deserve a spanking 😊).  I have written a lot this year about Daddy’s health issues, but this time… I faced some very serious health issues of my own.

Without going into the gory details, I needed a surgery to repair my large intestines that landed me in the hospital for three weeks.  My condition was life-threatening, and I am grateful to be here writing this post.  I am recovering at home now, with Daddy’s help, but I have a long road ahead of me.  Thankfully my libido is re-emerging and my interest in all things D/s and spanking are coming back to the surface!  I look forward to catching up with your blogs and apologize for my lack of readership in our community as of late.

I am still quite sleepy and I rest a majority of the time, but I hope to be more active here soon.  Daddy and Sir are being very patient with me as I slowly recover.  I want to wish all of my readers good health and happiness as we move toward the holiday season.  I hope life is treating you well!  As for me… I am on the road to recovery and am grateful for the love in my life.

Be well, my friends.  I’ll be back with some kinky stories soon!

XOXO,

nora

    1. Thank you, John! I have a long recovery ahead, but am hoping to have some spanking back in my life around the holidays. But in the meantime, my imagination is running wild! Hope you are well, my friend ❤

      1. I somehow missed this post until about 30 minutes ago.
It sounds like you are gradually recovering from a traumatic surgery.
I would guess a daily bottom busting would help you recover more quickly but laying on your tummy to present an accessible target would be tough as well as bending over.
Keep your fantasy life active. Relish your relationships with Daddy and Sir. Count your blessings. A good mindset will help recovery!
I am just sooooo relieved you are still with us!
        Thanx bunches for this post!
Behave yourself but don’t go overboard. (A woman needs to be naughty sometimes) 🤔

        1. Thank you, Paddlefan! I have been mostly behaving, though Sir did have reason to discipline me today. No spankings yet (still recovering from surgery), but I spent some time in the corner wishing I had behaved better 🙂 Much love, my friend! XOXO

  2. I was going to elicit sympathy for having knotty neck and back. Now I will shut up and wish you better.

Continue your road. Blessings to you both.

You help remind me to not be so cold at times. Keep smiling and being the happy person in other lives.

  3. Is it that you deserve a spanking? Or that you want a spanking and you are looking forward to the time when it is possible to enjoy that again? 🙂 Seriously, though, it is so good to hear that you are on the mend. Getting out of hospital can be a bit of a shock after heavy treatment, with no medical staff or appropriate drugs at hand, if they are needed. It is a case of learning to cope again. Take care of yourself, get all the rest that you need and make your own rules, for a while. You can always pay the price for doing that when you are properly better 🙂

    1. A little from column A, a little from column B… a girl always needs/wants a spanking, right? And you are spot on about getting out of the hospital! Learning to cope on my own again was a big transition. But I’ve been home for a week now, and I have a nurse that comes to see me three days per week. I currently have a wound vac but hopefully won’t need that much longer as my incision closes. Thank you for the kind words, Prefectdt….be well, my friend XOXO

  4. Hi Nora … just want to say if the op resulted in a stoma I’ve had one for several years and happy for you to ask any questions, rant or just joke about it all please feel free to email me xx

    1. Hi Shropsgirl! So…there was an 85% chance that I was going to wake up with a stoma and colostomy bag… but thankfully, that did not materialize! My rockstar surgeon was able to somehow fix me without having to go this route. I do have a wound vac, but that is only for a few weeks until my abdominal incision heals. I am sorry to hear that you have a stoma, my friend. I feel very grateful that you reached out to me this way, as if I had ended up with one, I would have really needed some support around it. Thank you for being there and for being so supportive ❤

      1. Aw bless you it sounds like you had an incredible surgeon! I’m afraid there was nothing left to save on mine… disease top to literally bottom (I no longer have a rectum lol) … even though your op worked please still be careful with your diet for a few months … try and limit fat and fibre xx

        1. Thank you for the wise advice, my friend! I’ve been researching the best way to eat and there is so much conflicting evidence. My surgeon told me to eat high fiber, but many websites say not to. I am very sorry to hear about the condition of your rectum. It sounds like you have been through a lot! Many hugs, my friend ❤

  5. I woke up today wondering how you were and wanted to reach out to make sure you were okay. I am glad to hear you are, but it sounds scary what you have faced. I too have been much less active, and that is also because of the events of life. I too am good, and hope to get back to writing myself again soon. Wishing you well and a strong recovery–and many spankings.

  8. Oh my goodness Nora, I hope you’re feeling better now! I’ve been absent myself for quite a while, which has put me behind in reading what everyone is up to. I’m sorry to read about your health issues. Let’s hope better health is in your future. Looking forward to reading more when you’re up for it again.

  9. Dear friends and spanking aficionados, Nora was kind enough to give me permission to inform you that I just published Sex and Submission, Five Erotic Stories on Amazon. Five steamy tales of women spanked and dominated by their men. Real characters in interesting situations. Look it up under author name John Huntley. Enjoy!

    1. Thank you, Mark! I am certainly on the mend. The surgery I had was a big one (15 inch incision)… my wound from surgery entry is still healing. But I will be good as new by Christmas! Much love to you, my friend XOXO

  10. Goodness, I’m so sorry to hear and glad to hear that you’re on the mend. Be gentle on yourself – this is coming from the woman who most certainly doesn’t practice what she preaches and was bouncing about without crutches merely days after foot surgery, but do try anyway? 😀 I hope you’re a little further along in your recovery by now and feeling brighter. Remember to take care of yourself first anyway, you’re no use to anyone if you’re not looking after number one xxx

    1. Ha! You sound like my kinda girl. I’ve been doing my best to take it easy, but honestly, that is harder for me than trying to just push through and heal faster. I am just about healed and back to light work outs, building my stamina back. Thank you for the supportive message! XOXO
