Hi Franz! I am so glad you tried this out. I imagined that many would see it was from Phantom and be unwilling to give it a go. I find it amusing that I perceive a D/s overtone in the first part of the movie, while he is trying to woo her….a real power exchange. If you didn’t know this, I am a huge fan of musicals. Though I couldn’t make a lifestyle out of it, I do find the idea of power exchange and the dark side of kink can be exciting. I don’t know much about the “Phantom” story, but I take it your perceptions of D/s overtones were shaped by your own desires? I should check it out when I have the time. Seems wooing, stalking, capturing and controlling is typically the man’s role, which I like to imagine, but flipping genders there is also intriguing.

Phantom is my favorite!!!! I’ve seen all the versions and he still makes me swoon. That scene where he takes her to underground lair, yeah I’ve wished I was her lol. Tall, dark, handsome and mysterious, yes! I wouldn’t mind the finer things on the outside but home I want it hard, and dirty, to feel controlled in only the best way, for his presence to make me feel meek yet strong because I’m his.

YES! I also love the many different versions. There is a live theater in Las Vegas that uses the music from this movie and it a GREAT production. The phantom…is inside my mind….. 🙂
